I was lucky enough to be chosen to get an ARC of Blood Pact by Dana Macellaro and boy, am I glad! It is SUCH an amazing book.

I’ll be honest, I started the book out like… why is she giving ALL of this info. Like, we get it, she’s your bestie! And then I read more and was like “😳 oh! Oh! Ohhhhhh!” that’s why she gave us all of that info! Everything connects in such an amazing way. There were many times where I had to stop the paragraph I was reading to cross-reference with another part of the book.
I read the digital copy but then I was sooooo lucky to get a physical copy and yall, it’s so much better! Why you ask? THE PICTURES! Yes! There are pictures all throughout that really make it feel like you are right there with Amanda as she figures everything out. They are SOOOOOO good.
The physical book also came with other goodies that were sooooooo on the nose it was perfect.
First, let’s talk about the box. How awesome is it? Very. Very, awesome.
The nod to Silas’ bar is just… perfection! And the wolf!
Then it came with amazing character art of Gilbert, a book mark, a Silas’ bar shot glass, the most perfect pen ever, and stickers that are already on my water bottle.
Blood Pact releases August 16, 2026. I honestly cannot wait for book 2, that comes out next year, of this series because I have sooooo many questions about what happens next!
In the meantime, I am off to read the rest of the books Dana has released! All of her books are available on Amazon & other book sites. BUT, I suggest grabbing it straight from her website so that she gets as much of the royalties as possible!
